About Cedar Homeschool
Rooted in Freedom. Growing in Community.
A Community Grown from Curiosity and Courage
Cedar Homeschool began with a simple idea: what if learning could be more meaningful, more joyful, and more connected to the real world? What started as a few families meeting in the forest has grown into a vibrant cooperative rooted in trust, freedom, and shared responsibility. We are not a school—we are something more flexible, more alive. We gather outdoors, follow our children’s interests, and support one another in reclaiming education as a family-driven, heart-led journey. Cedar is for those who believe learning doesn’t belong in a box—and neither do our kids.

Why Choose Us
We’re here for families who want to ditch rigid systems and rediscover learning as something that belongs to all of us.
01
Nature is Our Classroom
Our days are spent in the woods, fields, parks, and gardens—because we know kids thrive when they move, explore, and connect with the world around them. Rain or shine, the outdoors teaches in ways no textbook can.
02
Freedom-Centered Learning
We honor every child’s pace, personality, and passions. With no tests, no grades, and no pressure, our members are free to learn in ways that feel natural—led by curiosity, not a curriculum.
03
Built by Families, for Families
Cedar is entirely shaped by the families who join. There’s no top-down model here—just a shared vision and collaborative spirit. Whether you’re new to homeschooling or a seasoned parent, your voice matters here.
